About Unicamp:

Unicamp is a Unitarian Universalist camp that is committed to providing a safe and welcoming seasonal camp and spiritual retreat to our diverse community. Our programs and activities are designed to grow awareness and practice of our UU values in which our camp is rooted. These values include the understanding of the importance of each person, the quest for kindness in all we do, and the freedom to learn together and search for what is true. We affirm that all people need a voice, we work to build a fair and peaceful world, and we care for our sacred earth with awareness to the interconnectedness of all existence.

Located in Dufferin County, just north of Shelburne, Ontario, Unicamp is within the UNESCO Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve. It include 50 beautiful, peaceful acres of meadows, coniferous and deciduous forests, marshes, streams, and two beaches on a 2.5-acre spring-fed pond that is safe for swimming. This is a magical place to relax, explore, and reconnect with self, community, and nature.

Unicamp's high quality UU values-based programs and activities are designed to enable this community to demonstrate a respect for our natural assets, for each other, and for the interdependent web of creation. Central to this programming is Unicamp's mandate to organize, operate, and maintain camps with related services for children; we also provide and maintain facilities for programs, seminars, leadership conferences, and workshops for a variety of ages.
Cottages and Dorms:  Because sharing accommodations could risk everyone's health, cottages and dorms are ONLY available for Exclusive Use this season. Only one side of each dorm will be available to reserve; larger family groups/bubbles that would like to reserve both sides (for up to 12 beds) will have to contact bookings@unicampofontario.ca.

Meals: We are hoping to have food service available for pick-up at the Dining Hall (no indoor dining) but are still working out the details. More information will be shared in the spring; anyone with reservations will automatically be informed when meals become available to add to your booking.

Deposit: We are asking for a 50% deposit when making reservations in the spring, with the remainder paid by June 1st as we have more accurate information about the upcoming season. All reservations will be contacted in May.

Cancellation Policy: Please contact the Camp Director or Customer Service Representative (bookings@unicampofontario.ca) if you have circumstances beyond your control that will require you to cancel or reschedule your booking. If the reservation is cancelled, a 90% refund will be given when the cancellation is made at least 7 days in advance.
Reservations can be rescheduled for another date within the 2021 season without fee, especially when there are any health concerns.
